Our client is a large enterprise. They are now hiring a Lead Data Scientist to develop and deploy AI solutions to drive retail transformation.

Description

• Lead a team of 2 on research & development, deployment of multiple models and twist them into business use
• Perform close communication with BUs, come up with new solutions, prioritize resource and provide guidance
• Enhance existing models to optimize the coverage across BUs
• Develop and implement personalized recommendation solutions that improved customer replenishment experiences and drove business growth through timely and relevant suggestions
• Collaborate on campaign testing design to evaluate the impact of recommendation systems on customer engagement and business outcomes.
• Design and deploy an LLM-powered product categorization model, driving improvement in grouping granularity that enhances the replenishment recommendations design.
• Analyze customer behavior to gain deeper insights into customer characteristics, informing the design of new features and optimizing customer experiences.
• Continuously explore new AI concepts and techniques to address complex business questions, identify innovation opportunities, and assess their potential.
  
  

Profile

• Bachelor in Computer Science, Data Science or relevant disciplines
• 5+ years experience in Data Science and AI
• Hands on with Python, SQL, Spark with track record in develop and deliver LLM/ NLP, Deep Learning and Machine Learning models
• Experience with any cloud services e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP
• Team leadership track record is preferred
• Retail/ FMCG background/ Consulting experience is a plus
• Regional project experience is a huge plus
• Strong communication skills with multi-team collaboration and orchestration;
• Strong in solution design and delivery
• Experience in AI Enablement is a huge plus
• Good command in Chinese and English
