Mission :

The Designer is responsible for designing full range of Homeware product line for the Company and also responsible for all aspects for design & creation, from preparing artwork to overseeing sampling process through production.


Responsibilities:-

1. Design and creation of full range of homeware products for all Shanghai Tang internal and exterior point of sales, from market research, initial concept presentation, technical specification creation to finished product review. Home products including:
• Decorative items,
• Tableware,
• Home Fragrance,
• Desktop items
• Home textile,
• Packaging, etc.
2. Familiar with CAD. Preparation of prints and artworks with detailed measurements and technical specifications.
3. Coordinate with Sourcing-Production Department for product and material development.
4. Project Management for yearly Gift Catalogue.

Requirements :-

Technical Competencies

• Degree holder in Fashion / Graphic / Illustration Design
• Min. 3-5 years solid experience in designing high quality home products, hard-goods, gifts and premiums.
• Conceptual & highly creative with strong illustration skills, sensitive to market trends of relevant products
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese, other languages is a plus.
• Excellent command of PC skills, hands on experience in graphic design
