IT Officer/IT Technician/Senior IT Assistant in the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 521134) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related disciplines, with at least 2 years’ work experience preferably in a tertiary institution.  They should have competency in visual and graphic presentations (including live event and streaming video production) and web programming languages/tools (e.g. CSS 3, HTML 5, PHP, MYSQL JavaScript); effective interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills; and be a good team player.  Experience in e-Learning platform (i.e. edX or Moodle) and website design is highly preferred.  Those with less experience or lower qualifications may be considered for appointment as IT Technician or Senior IT Assistant.

The appointee will be responsible for software development and provision of quality IT services for the Department.  Working outside normal office hours and on weekends may be required occasionally.
