Centre for PanorOmic Sciences (CPOS) is an academic research-support centre comprising strategic research programs and various core laboratories under the management of the LKS Faculty of Medicine at the University of Hong Kong. We are undergoing rapid expansion and seeking various talents. The CPOS core laboratories host state of the art omics technology platforms. With a team of researchers and more than 60 highly trained and dedicated staff, we aim to facilitate and support omics research in Hong Kong and the region by developing expertise and infrastructure. Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines, with at least 1 year of work experience in IT-related fields. They should be proactive, enjoy team work, willing to learn and support laboratory operations.  Experience in databases, servers and PC support, website maintenance and MS Office support would be advantageous. A positive attitude with good command of written and spoken English and Chinese is essential. Fresh graduates with no work experience may also be considered.  Those with less experience may be considered for appointment at the rank of IT Technician.

The appointee will assist in various IT tasks for supporting the daily operations of the Centre. He/She will be the frontline internal technical support, and will assist in product evaluation, project preparation and execution.
