Our client is a government-funded institution with sizable operation in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain and enforce enterprise architecture framework, principles, best practices and policies that govern the use of IT across the University in different IT domains in line with strategic business priorities
• Apply architecture principles and governance mechanisms in Architecture review meetings with active contribution such as solutioning, technology adoption, data strategy, security and operation support
• Articulate the architecture vision and promote the adoption of IT strategic projects to senior stakeholders
• Contribute to the design of the Target State Architecture and the development of the Architectural Roadmap with the aim to optimise the application landscape and technology portfolio for an efficient IT operation
• Collaborate with business users, Infrastructure, ERP and Data Analytics teams to define and implement the enterprise technology roadmap and proactive technology refreshment plan to modernise the IT landscape in line with the defined EA roadmap and ensure the sustainability and security
• Lead the effort in new technology evaluation and onboarding, followed by establishing new standards, best practices and guidelines
• Lead the effort in strategic enterprise architecture planning and execution such as optimizing application portfolios, establishing technology reference models and mapping to capability models

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related discipline
• 8+ years' work experience in enterprise architecture with 3+ years of experience in information systems analysis/design and architecture development experience
• Knowledge of the latest technologies and business processes, such as API, Microservice architecture solutions, SaaS, Data Management and Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and IoT
• Professional credentials in TOGAF, ITIL, DevOps, Agile, CI/CD or relevant disciplines will be an advantage
• Sound knowledge of system architecture standards management
• Expertise in emerging technologies including cloud and on-premises computing, and system security
• Hands-on experience in designing application with high scalability, throughput, fault tolerance, recoverability, and maintainability
• Good analytical, presentation, documentation and report writing skills; and
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong leadership skills and commitment. He/She must be a self-starter with strong decision-making skills and ability to work under pressure.
