We are seeking a native mandarin speaking of investment professional as AVP/VP who got solid background in global equities - with a key focus on A+ H + US shares , and providing fundament research and analyst to the CIO and work closely with macro , quant and risk investment team.

Our client is a a steadily growing and innovative investment firm backed by a Hong Kong based family. The firm is currently under expansion. With its institutional level AUM and investment expertise, the

firm invests similar to a multi-strategy hedge fund in a multitude of asset classes globally, ranging from fixed income and equity to structured products and alternative investments.

Description

As a Senior Investment Analyst, your main responsibilities will include:

Five or more years of work experience; at least two of which in an analytical role in hedge funds, mutual funds, private equity funds, banking, auditing, management consulting or other related fields
Experienced in advanced modelling in Excel; knowledge of VBA and stochastic modeling a plus
Experienced in financial statement analysis and various valuation methodologies
Familiar with global healthcare and semi-conductor industries a plus
Proficient in Bloomberg
Awareness of macro events
Medium to advanced level PowerPoint users
Entrepreneurial personality to work in flexible small company environment
Proficiency in Mandarin and English is required. Cantonese is a plus

Profile

A successful Investment Analyst should have:

A degree in Financial engineering , Economics, or a related field
Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
Strong knowledge of the hedge fund industry and China A shares market
Excellent communication and presentation skills
The ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to strategic decisions
