About the Client

Our client is a renowned listed company with global business operation. Currently they are looking for a seasoned Internal Audit Director who has transformation skillsets/experience to join their team.

About the Role

You will draft annual risk-based audit plans. You will lead internal audits covering operational, regulatory, governance, compliance, and cybersecurity risks. You will provide independent assurance on risk management and internal control systems to safeguard assets and improve governance. You will ensure timely, high-quality audit outcomes and prepare quality audit committee reports. You will conduct risk assessments, identify control gaps, and recommend actionable improvements. You will investigate fraud, whistleblowing cases, and irregularities. You will supervise and develop an audit team. You will manage audit staff and external resources during audits, reviews, and documentation.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• 15+ years of audit experience from Big 4 and sizable MNC/ conglomerate.
• Experience in adopting new audit tools/ driving transformation within the Audit Department is highly preferred.
• Self-driven, confident, able to perform under a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Strong team management and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.
• Occasional traveling is required.
