Major Responsibilities

• Provide Server-side supports and maintenance, including Windows and VM platform such as VMware, Nutanix AHV, etc.;
• Provide network infrastructure support and maintenance, including network design, scripting and relevant configuration or tuning on network facilities such as LAN/WAN, switching, routing, firewalls, access points, etc.;
• Monitor network connectivity and security control, including VLAN, ACL, and routing rules;
• Monitor network systems performance and identify areas of possible enhancement; and close out outstanding network issues by implementing fixes or upgrades;
• Conduct analysis on existing network systems and availability of solutions and technologies in the market; acquire and implement corresponding network systems and tools, if any;
• Coordinate with users and vendor for project implementation and arrange training for users; and
• Provide end-user support, and handle service requests related to infrastructure support and maintenance.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
• Minimum 3 years of relevant IT experience;
• Hands-on experience in Windows, CentOS, SUSE Linux, AHV and VMware platform;
• Hands-on experience in network infrastructure: firewall, router, switches, DNS, VPN, VLAN etc.;
• Excellent knowledge of major network equipment such as: H3C Switches, Fortigate Firewall, or FireEye;
• Sound knowledge in best practices of project management and IT governance;
• Able to work independently and under pressure;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with all levels of the organization;
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; and
• Holder of relevant professional certificates, preferable but not essential.
