We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Information Technology Office:

Information Technology Officer (Ref: 23000MG)

Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

• Providing support and management of the Computer Centers and Computer rooms;
• Providing professional technical support regarding servers, storage and backup infrastructure;
• Supporting and administering Anti-virus, End-Point and backup software, O365, Google Workspace and Turnitin;
• Performing any other duties as assigned; and
• May be required to work during evenings, weekends and/or public holidays.

Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

• A recognized degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computing Studies or equivalent;
• Relevant work experience in IT hardware/software;
• Good understanding of IT architecture, integration and design, and hardware and software of IT operations;
• Good level of communication, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills; and
• A strong sense of responsibility and an effective team player with self-motivation and able to work independently.

Candidates may be invited to attend a written test.
