Information Technology Officer (User Support) (PR0298/22-23)
The appointee will be responsible for:
a) IT user support, including online lessons and events support;
b) IT equipment procurement, installation, configuration, administration and maintenance;
c) periodic checks and diagnosis of IT facilities, trouble shooting of hardware and software issues;
d) inventory records of hardware and software;
e) computer systems information security risk identification and analysis;
f) server administration, user authentication and accounts management; and
g) in-house computer user trainings.
Applicants should have a recognised degree in IT, Engineering or related disciplines. They should have at least three years of work experience. The appointee should possess good communication and problem-solving skills with patience, and ability to meet deadlines and multitask. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Candidates with less work experience will also be considered.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
