HK$38,684 to HK$59,068 per month (including Monthly Allowance)

Job

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams of developers, engineers and healthcare professionals on the design, development and implementation of IT solutions of eHealth products and hybrid cloud platform.
2. Conduct detail system analysis, proposal, development, testing, implementation, problem diagnosis and support of application systems.
3. Assist in provision of consultancy based on information technology and industry expertise in areas of responsibility.
4. Design and prepare system specifications for different components and prepare test cases; maintain system documentations and reports.
5. Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.
6. Provide suggestions for improving software development processes and practices.
7. Monitor service provision of IT solutions.
8. Provide competent level of user support.
9. Supervise Programmers and resolve technical issues for application development and testing to ensure quality assurance on work deliverables.
10. Provide after office hours’ system support.

 
Requirements

1. Degree in Computer Science or relevant disciplines; or equivalent.
2. 4 years’ post qualification Information Technology (IT) related experience.

Preferred Attributes

1. Experience in any of the following areas:
   (a) Software and/or web application development in relation to clinical care using ASP.NET, Java, NodeJS and/or ReactJS
   (b) Applications on private and/or public cloud platform
   (c) Large scale RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)
   (d) Agile development methodologies using Git, JIRA and other development tools
   (e) Quality assurance and test automation
2. Self-initiated, self-motivated and able to work independently.
3. Innovative, able to work under pressure to meet tight project schedule.
4. Strong analytical skills with strong technical proficiency.
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Remarks

1. Appointment will be on contract terms for a period of 2 - 3 years.  Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance.
2. Relevant experience gained in HA may be considered as equivalent to post-qualification experience.
3. May be required to work over-night shifts and/or provide 24-hour on call support, and when necessary, provide on-site support services at different hospitals.
4. May be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA.
