Duties: The appointee will lead a team of IT professionals and technical staff to oversee the information and communication technology services for the School to support its teaching and learning activities, and business operations. He/She will set the strategies for application development, use of new technology, IT infrastructure and facility, network and system security, and end-user support service of the School, including planning, managing, upgrading, and maintaining all IT facilities to meet the current needs and future development of the School.
Requirements: Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other relevant discipline or equivalent with at least ten years’ IT management experience. They must have a solid track record in developing and implementing infrastructure and application systems, handling IT project planning, sourcing and bidding exercises, and managing IT services suppliers, vendors and outsourcers. Those familiar with ERP projects and digital transformation will have an advantage. Candidates should have strong leadership and business management skills, extensive experience in departmental administration, good interpersonal and communication skills, and fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese.
Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review. A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract. Medical and dental benefits, 22 days’ annual leave and the use of library facilities will be provided where applicable. The School also provides staff development opportunities.
