Reputable group of kindergartens located in Ma On Shan, Fo Tan & Tseung Kwan O looking for experienced candidates to take on the role of head teachers as we expand our team.
Works in collaboration with the Principal in supervising and implementing school policies, EYFS curriculum framework, student portfolio assessments and teacher observations
Leads the team of teachers in developing and improving teaching and learning and creating a learning rich environment
Can anticipate the needs of the school in developing its brand and reputation
Runs effective meetings and provides agenda and minutes of these meetings
Perform any other duties as requested by the Principal
Responsibilities:
To teach kindergarten and nursery classes of children from ages 2 to 6 (half-day) with some afternoon support teaching duties
To monitor and oversee daily lesson plans based on the EYFS framework which are suitable to the needs, interests and future development of the children
To provide professional support and prepare teaching/ learning materials that are of quality and based on the learning thorugh play principle
To communicate with parents on students' progress and development on a regular basis
To provide support on school and promotional events and functions outside of school hours
To carry out other duties as reasonably requested by the Principal
Required Qualifications and Skills:
A recognised bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or related principle; or currently enrolled in PGDE; and
Able to work closely with all teachers; and
Flexible, adaptive, organised, highly proactive and self-motivated
- Criticial thinking and problem solving skills
Experience working with a multi-national team is an advantage
Candidates available from July 2nd would be preferred to help with the orientation process and to become familiar with the school.
