This role will be their Head of Compliance for their insurance business. This role will cover both regulatory and AML duties whilst managing a small team.

Description

your main responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing and managing compliance issues within the organisation
• This role will cover both AML and general compliance matters whilst managing a small team
• Establishing standards and implementing procedures to ensure that compliance programs throughout the organisation are effective and efficient in identifying, preventing, detecting and correcting noncompliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Interacting with the insurance authority regulator and will be the Key Person for IA
• Providing guidance to the board and senior management on compliance laws, rules and standards, including keeping them informed on developments within the industry.
• Overseeing the training of employees on compliance related topics, policies and procedures.
• Identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, developing and implementing corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues and providing general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.

Profile

A successful Head of Compliance - Insurance should have:

• 10-15+ years of insurance compliance experience from insurance firm
• Must have both AML and General Compliance experience
• Must come from product compliance background and preferably from life insurance
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be able to read and write Chinese
