Responsibilities:

• Plans, implements, monitors and reviews policies and procedures of the food safety management system in the Centre
• Prepares and delivers proper training to related employees on food safety knowledge and proper food handling practices in order to ensure the requirements of the food safety management system are continuously developed
• Maintains good working relationship with local health authorities such as Food and Environmental Hygiene Department and ensures the operations implemented are complied with the most updated regulations and procedures
• Assists with the implementation and preparation for hygiene related certifications and liaises with local authorities to ensure necessary safety licences are obtained and maintained continuously
• Completes food supplier audits with the departments concerned and identifies necessary corrective actions and improvement plans based on the HACCP system
• Identifies key areas of risk in various food operations for early remedial actions
• Co-ordinates with the Food & Beverage team and other departments for the management of the provision of hygiene chemicals and dosing equipment on site by conducting regular reviews with chemical supplier, periodic chemical dosing checks, maintenance of equipment and overseeing the safe storage, decant, transport and use of chemicals in the Centre

Requirements:

• Degree holder or above in food safety, food science or other related fields
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in food safety and hospitality industry, with minimum 3 years in managerial level 
• Sound knowledge of ISO 20121 certification, HACCP system, regulation requirements and food safety standards
• Sound knowledge of catering and hospitality industry is preferred
• Proven experience in the implementation of food safety management system
• High standards of professional manner
• Good communication, planning and organisational skills
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; Mandarin would be advantageous
