ACADEMIC REGISTRY
The appointee is expected to provide administrative support to the Academic Quality Support Section of the Academic Registry. Core duties include (a) supporting the University's academic quality assurance procedures such as Academic Consultation Panel visits and programme accreditations; (b) coordinating the preparation and follow-up of external review exercises; (c) assisting in the review and implementation of academic quality assurance policies and procedures for on-going enhancements; (d) providing secretarial service to major committees; (e) liaising with internal and external parties on quality assurance initiatives; (f) providing support to the administration of the University-wide Course Evaluation exercise; and (g) handling enquiries. The incumbent will have to supervise the work of the clerical staff in the respective areas of duties.
Applicants should have a recognised degree plus seven years of relevant experience in the tertiary education sector. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and proficiency in computer application skills are required. Self-motivation with a positive work attitude, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under tight schedule and pressure are essential.
