The MBA Programmes at the CUHK Business School are distinguished by their focus on ‘Global Academic Excellence’, the ‘LEAP Experience and BEAM Ecosystem’, and ‘Asian Century Focus’. The MBA Programme Office (‘Office’) operates with a unique working culture defined by ‘Professionalism with Hearts’, ‘Dynamic Value Creation’, and ‘Steward of Growth’.
Reporting to the Head of Academic Affairs of the Office, the appointee will play a key role in supporting academic affairs within the Central Academic and Administration (CAA) team.
The appointee will be responsible for (a) co-ordinating international rankings and global accreditation processes for the MBA Programmes; (b) supporting the periodic evaluation of the programmes’ competitiveness; (c) assisting in the development of programme-level policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and action plans; (d) providing administrative support to the Programme Committee and other academic-related committees; (e) maintaining annual and monthly administrative working plans and calendars; (f) ensuring that all planned tasks and deadlines are communicated effectively and tracked accordingly; (g) providing support in ensuring compliance with institutional policies, accreditation standards, reporting requirements, and operational guidelines; (h) maintaining accurate records and documentation of all the related work from all functional teams of the Office; and (i) performing other impromptu duties as assigned.
Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor’s degree; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo (for Executive Officer II); (iii) at least 5 years’ relevant post-qualification executive experience in the tertiary education sector; (iv) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua); (v) good interpersonal and verbal communication skills to effectively engage and establish positive relationships with stakeholders; (vi) proficiency in reporting and information management; (vii) the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, handle multiple tasks under pressure, and maintain a high level of attentiveness to detail; and (viii) a strong commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and a high sense of ethics. Applicants who do not fulfil (ii) on the above and with less but at least 2 years’ work experience may be considered for appointment as Project Co-ordinator II.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract) commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
