The Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) is an independent and not-for-profit statutory body which administers public examinations in Hong Kong. Our scope of responsibility extends to administering over 200 international and professional examinations. We are looking for talented people to join hands with the HKEAA family in contributing to the provision of valid, reliable and equitable examinations and a range of assessment services to meet the educational and societal needs of the community. Examinations Administration Assistant (Ref: SE/04/230)
Duties: The appointee will be responsible for handling phone and written enquiries/complaints in the Public Examinations Information Centre. The post holder is also required to provide clerical and administrative support in the Centre, perform user acceptance test for online application systems and assist in the investigation of examination irregularities together with the timely updating of the knowledge base. He/she will be required to work outside office hours during examination seasons.
Requirements:
(a) Higher Diploma/ Associate Degree or above in any discipline;
(b) At least 2 years’ working experience in general administration or clerical support;
(c) Working experience in examination administration and customer service is an added advantage;
(d) Proficient in computer applications including Word, Excel and Chinese word processing;
(e) Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua; and
(f) Good customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
Employment Terms: The remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be on a fixed-term contract with contract-end-gratuity, MPF benefits, medical and dental care. Future employment may be offered on renewable contracts subject to performance and staffing needs.
