Reporting to the Group Engineering Management, you will be responsible for driving various engineering projects at the Group level, aiming to meet our business plans and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Explore and manage the rechargeable product portfolio for different business units, including cell & battery pack, energy storage system for various applications .
• Develop product innovation so as to enhance competitiveness of our products
• Drive through the process development, product design and product launch activities
  
• Provide direction on technology application and quality function deployment (QFD) to a team of engineers consisting of mechanical design, system design and automation engineers
  
• Support the production in factories to meet quality, costs, delivery and responsiveness requirements
  
• Closely partner with other functional teams, including production, automation, research & development , quality assurance and sales & marketing in order to drive through the product development plans

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or above in Electrical / Electronics Engineering and/or Chemistry or related disciplines
  
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical/electrical designs and manufacturing process development
  
• Solid experience in application of rechargeable batteries, fuel cell, super capacitos and electro-plating is advantageous
  
• Strong analytical thinking, business acumen and problem solving skills
  
• Good project management technique and strong sense of profit & loss
  
• Result-oriented and with good sense of job accountability and integrity
  
• Proficient in English and Chinese, including Mandarin
