Engineer - Environmental Control System & Building Services (Capital Works) (Ref No.: 230000P3)
We are looking for aspiring and suitably qualified individuals to join our Capital Works Business Unit (CWBU), where we work with our stakeholders to create sustainable transport solutions for the community, and we care for our staff and provide a great place to work.

Responsibilities
- Carry out design works of Tunnel Environmental Control System (TECS) for new railway projects
- Provide support to review Building Services (BS) system design submissions from consultants and contractors for new railway projects, asset replacement projects and property enabling projects
- Coordinate with other disciplines and relevant government departments to ensure that the design is completed in accordance with the project definition documents and statutory requirements
- Upkeep the Design Standards Manual for new works and major asset replacement works as well as the Materials and Workmanship Specifications for BS
- Explore innovation ideas and carry out trial projects to enhance the safety and performance of TECS and BS systems
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical / Building Services / Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in the design of TECS or BS Systems, preferably for large-scale railway projects
- Good interpersonal, communication and writing skills
- Hands-on experience in simulation software, such as subway environmental simulation and computational fluid dynamics is an advantage
- Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution is preferred
Remarks
- Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
- Occasional business travel may be required
