Responsibilites:

• Guide and supervise a team of technicians / labor with the electrical intallation of Baggage Handling Equipment, compliant to the industrial electrical installation standards and normsof Hong Kong (EMSD COP).
• Familiaration with the electrical design architecture.
• Communicating the requirements to local installation team.
• Quality control and follow up with rectification.
• Familiarization with design of electrical panels, field equipment, cable type and cable routing.
• Understanding of electrical norms and regulation for electrical engineering and electrical installation: EMSD COP (HK), IEC norms (BS would be advantageous).
• Capable of analysing bills of material, installation documents etc.
• Support installation company in confirming material requirements for work packages to ensure adequate warehouse stock levels to meet the construction schedule.
• On site technical support for electrical engineering during installation, commissioning, and integration.
• Maintain electrical documentation reflecting the as-built state.
• Internal contact: project teams on-site, specialists of back office (China) support
• External contact: consortium poartners, specialists of client, 3rd party service providers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor in Electrical Engineering
• 2 to 5 years relevant electrrical engineering / installation experience
• Knowledge and experience with product and solution development in the area of control and automation
• Ability to plan and lead technical meetings,
• Readiness to work in team
• Siemens Simatic PLC HW (incl. Bus architecture ASi / ProfiNet ).
• Construction and design experience in ACAD Layout in 2D/3D.
• KNowledge in ePlan V2.5 is advantageous.
• Proficient in industrial electrical installation.
• Frequency Inverter Application (familiarization with Siemens G110D advantageous).
• Microsoft Office
• Advantage when Experience with logistics process automation, and software development and engineering
• Fluency in English reading, writing and oral communication is essential;
• Mobility & flexibility is advantageous (travel >12 months)
