Description

• Formulate construction training strategies and policies in ensuring that the training courses meet a leading quality standards of the industry and align with the Hong Kong education system.
• Analysis insight and foresight of the resources of training facilities, teaching staff and other resources.
• Strengthen and broaden the network with local stakeholders, including schools, trade unions, associations and professionals.
• Develop strong partnership with overseas stakeholders and training institutes, including those in Greater Bay Area, other parts of Mainland China and APAC regions.
• Explore collaboration opportunities such as exchange programmes with construction organisation.

Profile

• Bachelor degree in Civil / Structural Engineering, Building Services, Surveying or related disciplines;
• At least 18 year's post-qualification experience in the construction field at management level, experience in training / education and familiar with the Hong Kong education system is preferred but not a must.
• Passionate in construction training with well-rounded knowledge and skill sets and an in-depth understanding of the manpower needs of the construction industry
• Proven experience of building network and nurture strong bondage with stakeholders both locally and overseas, including Greater Bay Area, other parts of Mainland China, APAC regions
• Insightful, innovative, highly motivated and creative in problem solving
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, fluency in Mandarin Chinese is a must.
