Scope of work:

• Focus on entertainment / nightlife based interior design and user experience
• Receive design direction from, and report to Design Head 
• Oversee a design team of 3-6 pax (primarily interior design and secondarily graphic design)
• Test and develop upstream design ideas into downstream solutions
• Systematically create and update a matrix or catalogue of design solutions
• Plan efficient and ergonomic layouts
• Oversee and be responsible for Design Testing & Documentation in 2D CAD and 3D sketch up / 3D Max
• Oversee and be responsible for design presentations, to internal team and external "clients"
• Resourceful and familiar with materials, suppliers and core construction techniques
• Liaise with project management team to ensure design is accurately conveyed during design documentation stage, and executed on site during construction stage

Requirements:

• Currently living in Beijing (China work experience a bonus)
• Bilingual (highly proficient in English and Mandarin, written and spoken)
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in interior design concept, design, documentation and construction/site supervision, with extra emphasis on documentation & construction/site supervision phases.
• Additional Exposure to Graphic / User Experience / User Interface design is a bonus
• Able to travel frequently domestically within china
• Prior experience managing small teams a must (prefer if individual has all-rounded experience across various design stages)
• Clear communicator
• Rigorous and Detail oriented
• Keen understanding and interest, in nightlife and entertainment lifestyle a bonus
