Company Overview
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the mechanical plant and equipment status on a daily basis with the support of technicians
- Analyze the behavior of the plants with respect to the set point and setting up the various control parameters
- Perform daily auditing of plant performance by utilizing the facilities built on the building management system (BMS) e.g. data logging, plant review, alarm status, etc.
- Analyze reasons of failure of plants and provides specific diagnostic, problem analysis and specify the necessary remedial actions
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to the electrical and mechanical installations
- Investigate technical problems and derive solutions
- Supervise a team of maintenance technicians during shift duty
- Supervise the performance of in-house technical staff
- Supervise the performance of maintenance contractors on quality and services level
- Liaison with the client and representatives on the condition and performance of E&M installations
- Handle the supervision for major repairing and maintenance work
- Operate and maintain mission critical facilities of data centres on 7x24 basis
- Respond to emergencies and lead the facilities team and service vendors to resume availability and service levels of the data centres
- Formulate policies, guidelines, operating procedures, disaster recovery plan, business continuity plans and other method statements and schedules for the operation, maintenance and repair of critical facilities
Requirements:
- High Diploma in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical or equivalent
- Proven working experience in operation and maintenance of 7x24 mission critical facilities, of which 3 years at managerial or supervisory position. Previous working experience in data centre a definite advantage
- Holder of Registration of Electrical Worker in Grade A or above is preferable
- Sound knowledge in all technical aspects of engineering / maintenance (i.e. E&M and builder’s work)
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Good supervision and communication skills
- Able to work shifts and out of office hours if necessary
