A Credit Controller role has opened up in a Swiss Private Bank. This role will assist Credit Administration & Control team to work closely with RMs to manage daily margin, credit control and monitoring, payment validation and MI reports. The candidate should have 3-5 years of working experience in credit control and monitoring, margin calls management within private banking industry, immediately available candidates preferred.

Our client is a one of the largest Swiss private banks and they are hiring a Credit Controller to join the Credit Administration & Control team to work closely with RMs to manage daily margin, enforcement letter, credit control and monitoring, payment validation and MI reports. Headquartered in Geneva, they offer services to private and institutional clients.
Description
- Responsible for daily margin management and limit excess, prepare margin call and enforcement letter to clients
- Work closely with Relationship Managers (RMs) to follow up and record on measures to be taken to regularize excesses and response to RMs queries
- Review and validate pending payments/cashier withdrawals/trades
- Perform portfolio analysis and stress testing with management summaries, perform market/ issuer risk event monitoring for early identification of emerging collateral risks
- Input credit related parameters such as limit, risk groups, cross pledges, pricing, etc.
- Monitor any adverse news/price movement through Bloomberg, Refinitiv & other means and escalate to Team Head with impact highlighted
- Prepare internal MI reports, trackers and reports for different stakeholder such as Management, Head Office, regulators and auditors
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for Head office and Committees and assist in ad hoc projects
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, risk management or relevant discipline
- 3-5 years of working experience in credit control and monitoring, credit administration, margin calls management within private banking
- Experience in work closely with private banking Relationship Managers (RMs)
- Strong team player and able to work under pressure
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in oral and written English and Cantonese skills
- Proficient in MS applications such as Word, Excel
