The incumbent will be responsible for the following duties:

• Provide legal & contractual advice and analysis for tenders and contracts to a high level of professional standard
• Give support to Sales personnels in tender or contract terms and conditions negotiation during pre-contract stage
• Billing and collection of progress payments, maximize company’s cash flow and continuously minimize company debts or receivables risk exposure
• Support New Installation or Modernization Project Managers throughout the post-contract phase, including advice on pricing of variations, claims, preparation and negotiation of final account
• Initiate any necessary arbitration or legal actions

Requirements

• A tertiary Quantity Surveying education or related disciplines
• Professional Quantity Surveying (QS) qualification (eg RICS, HKIS or equivalent). Candidate who do not possess the Professional qualification will be considered if the candidate is able to show and demonstrate solid QS knowledge and competency
• Substantial experience in QS and contract review, and minimum of 2 - 3 years’ post professional accreditation working experience
• Willing to take challenge or accept short-term travels or assignment overseas when required
• Strong writing skills as well as negotiation skills
