Job Requirements

• CPA with degree in Law, Finance or related discipline(s)
• Familiar with Hong Kong's financial regulations, including but not limited to the Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, etc.
• Knowledge of major global regulatory frameworks (such as FATCA) is a plus
• Minimum 5 years’ solid experience in compliance, relevant working experience at financial institutions is a must
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Fluency in both written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese
• Detail-oriented, able to work independently mature and a good team player

Responsibilities

• Must be independent, as this is an individual contributor role
• Ensure company policies, internal control procedures and manuals are up-to-date with regulatory requirements and monitor adherence with these policies
• Maintain Continuous Professional Training records of licensed representatives
• Liaise with SFC, HKEX and regulators for any inquiries and requests
• Assist in consultation raised by operation team relating to compliance issues, including due diligence and AML / PDD / KYC suitability policy
• Keep abreast of new regulatory requirements published by SFC, etc.
• Develop, draft and review a broad range of legal documents, announcement, notice, board resolutions, shareholders resolutions and company secretary documents
• Compliance Reporting: Prepare and submit compliance reports, including regularly reporting on compliance status, risk profiles, and improvement measures to customs and the board of directors
