Description

• Ensure that managed services are performing according to the Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and that adequate resources and support are being provided with high-quality services. Monitor the performance of these services to ensure compliance.
• Take the lead in troubleshooting any issues, risks, or irregularities related to cloud infrastructure and its operation. Prepare incident/problem reports as needed, follow up on remediation actions, and develop plans for improvement.
• Monitor the managed services providers to ensure that procedures for change preparation, implementation, and post-implementation review are being followed as defined.
• Collaborate with managed services providers to support the deployment of new projects and onboarding of application systems to the cloud infrastructure.
• Work with managed services providers to implement and execute disaster recovery drills according to the defined plans and procedures.
• Support the Cloud Governance team and managed services providers in developing a continuous service improvement plan to address potential operational issues and risks.
• Take responsibility for cloud platform capacity planning and reporting to ensure that there are sufficient system resources to meet business needs.

• Work with managed services providers and internal teams to design, develop, and implement cloud management platform and related infrastructure components based on user and business requirements.

Profile

• Possess a university degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, preferably gained from major financial institutions, with at least 5 years of experience in a team lead or managerial role.
• Solid background in managing the operation of system infrastructure, including computing systems, storage, and network.
• Knowledgeable about cloud computing technologies, DevOps automation tools, and prevailing information technology trends, such as Ansible Tower, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
• Familiar with ITSM processes, IT governance frameworks, and IT compliance standards in the financial industry.
• Possess the ability to use an analytical, innovative, and structured approach to problem-solving, with a sense of pragmatism, common sense, and a self-starter mentality.
• Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
• Possess good presentation, documentation, and report writing skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua being an advantage.
