We are looking for aspiring and suitably qualified individuals to join our Capital Works Business Unit (CWBU), where we work with our stakeholders to create sustainable transport solutions for the community, and we care for our staff and provide a great place to work.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to ensure that project objectives are accomplished timely
• Act as the subject matter expert in managing the programme planning for new railway projects
• Establish and maintain integrated master programme, monitor, review and report project progress
• Manage the team to prepare documents for appointment of consultants and contractors and review related submissions in project programmes  
• Perform delay analysis and assess extension of time claims
• Develop plan for delay recovery and programme acceleration
• Conduct quantitative schedule risk analysis
• Lead to coordinate design and construction programme interfaces
• Drive the implementation of digital project management system and earned value management system

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• A minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience in major construction projects and methodologies, planning and programming, of which 6 years should be at managerial level
• Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution
• Construction experience in railway or other major infrastructure projects is an advantage
• Fully conversant with programming techniques with hands-on experience in the application of programming software, preferably Primavera P6
• Possession of qualification with relevant experience in NEC Project Management is preferred

Remarks

• Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
