We are looking for aspiring and suitably qualified individuals to join our Capital Works Business Unit (CWBU), where we work with our stakeholders to create sustainable transport solutions for the community, and we care for our staff and provide a great place to work.

Responsibilities 

• Lead the Capital Works Digital Strategy and Innovation unit to formulate and implement the Digital & Innovation strategy in digital engineering / design, digital construction and digital project management, driving enhancements that address business needs, the changing environment and upcoming challenges
• Define and formulate projects plans, prioritise the implementation programme, identify risks and barriers, establish mitigation strategies, manage stakeholders and prepare budgets
• Develop and implement standardisation and governance protocols for digital and innovation initiatives
• Analyse users and business requirements to develop business cases and collaborate with internal and external parties including consultants, vendors on the investment, development and ongoing upgrade / maintenance of relevant systems and applications within budget
• Engage internal stakeholders / end-users actively and review business pain-points, work processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement to achieve enhancements
• Conduct research, recommend innovative technologies and drive the implementation with close collaboration with internal stakeholders / end-users for the process improvements and operational efficiency that align with the objectives and the needs of CWBU
• Drive the communication and promotion plan of Capital Works Digital & Innovation unit within CWBU, across the Corporation and to the external stakeholders
• Build and connect wider digital and innovation ecosystem by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
• Work and coordinate with the internal IT team to develop and launch new digital developments / initiatives, ensuring compliance with Corporate IT standards / governance
• Foster a digital culture and enhance literacy among all stakeholders and end users within CWBU

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology / Engineering or a related discipline
• A minimum of 15 years' relevant experience, of which 6 years should be at managerial level
• Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage internal and external stakeholders at various levels
• Good understanding and relevant experience in infrastructure project management / delivery covering various stage of a project life cycle including design and construction stages  
• Strong knowledge in project management framework and system development life cycle (SDLC) methodology
• Proficient in using various digital platforms and software for infrastructure project management, engineering design and construction management
• Knowledge of construction technologies, including but not limited to Building Information Modelling (BIM), Geographical Information System (GIS), Smart Site Safety System and Digital Works Supervision System, digital project management platforms / software, as well as AI, data analytics and data governance is an advantage

Remarks

• Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Senior Digital Strategy & Innovation Manager (CW) position
