We are looking for aspiring and suitably qualified individuals to join our Capital Works Business Unit (CWBU), where we work with our stakeholders to create sustainable transport solutions for the community, and we care for our staff and provide a great place to work.

Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of works for systemwide E&M contracts and ensure related design and construction for new railway projects are delivered safely, cost effectively, timely and in compliance with the specifications and Corporate/statutory requirements
- Lead and manage the construction teams to manage all aspects of systemwide E&M, interfaces and coordination with other disciplines for effective project delivery
- Lead and provide advice to the teams in reviewing contractor's design submissions, drawings and work programmes
- Lead the collaboration with Civil, BS, ABWF and Operation Interfaces for proper design and construction
- Manage the modification and construction works, testing and commissioning from commencement through to completion, as well as coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure proper interfaces
- Apply common data environment (CDE), BIM, offsite fabrication and testing, digital construction and integrated project controls as collaborative digital platform through the delivery process for effective project management
- Lead task forces of different disciplines to accomplish complicated multi-disciplinary project milestones
- Manage the contractors and deal with internal and external stakeholders on a day-to-day basis to obtain seamless technical and programme interfaces, identify opportunities for productivity improvement and foster a collaborative and partnering working culture amongst all parties to promote continuous improvement and innovation
Requirements
- Degree in Electronic/Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related discipline
- A minimum of 15 years' relevant experience in major construction management for large scale multi-disciplinary projects, of which 6 years should be at senior managerial level, track record of delivery of large scale railway projects in brownfield and greenfield.
- Strong collaboration experience with Civil, BS and Operational Interface for project delivery
- Previous experience in greenfield and brownfield railway projects and the ability to apply lessons learnt in previous projects are advantages
- Experience in using BIM for spatial coordination and NEC for project management
- Knowledge of CDE, digital construction in delivery, software management, electromagnetic compatibility and system integration
- Strong team-spirit with excellent stakeholder management, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to develop and drives the strategies for coping with ambiguities and unexpected situation
- Open-minded, pro-active, ready to accept and promote innovative work initiatives and partnership
- Possess a strong mindset for continuous improvement with railway project works
- Proficient in report writing with good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution
Remarks
- Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
