A leading international law firm is seeking for a Business Development & Marketing Executive to join their Asia team, focusing on creating pitch materials, conducting research, coordinating meetings, and managing legal directory submissions and events. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and project management skills and at least two years of experience in business development within a law firm or professional services organization.

We are delighted to represent them in search of a Business Development & Marketing Executive to join their Asia Business Development & Marketing Department.

Description

With guidance from Business Manager, you will act as a point-of-contact for creating standardized pitch materials, deal lists, and other marketing materials, you play a crucial role in engaging potential and existing clients. Your responsibilities include conducting thorough client and market research ahead of specific client meetings and internal practice-planning meetings for the Asia offices. Additionally, you coordinate and attend practice meetings, ensuring that follow-up actions are managed efficiently for the team.

You also handle the coordination of legal directory submissions for various Asia practice areas, working closely with lawyers to edit and update drafts, schedule interviews, and manage the submission process. Furthermore, you manage a small number of business development-related events in collaboration with the global events team. Your role involves overseeing assigned projects from inception to implementation, maintaining clear communication throughout the process with a variety of internal stakeholders, including partners.

Profile

The ideal candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with lawyers and staff at all levels. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are essential, along with a keen attention to detail. Project management skills are crucial, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently. A proactive, problem-solving attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are highly valued. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required, and experience with InterAction/CRM is advantageous.

Preferred qualifications include at least two years of experience in a business development role within a law firm or professional services organization. This experience should demonstrate the candidate's ability to contribute effectively to the firm's business development efforts.
