Description

The BD Executive will provide strategic business development advice and practical marketing support for all fee earners. This includes setting strategy for each business area and facilitating business development activities in Asia. The role involves working with partners on their business plans, contributing to pitches for key clients, providing client relationship management support, and coordinating marketing activities such as thought leadership campaigns, events, and hospitality.

Additionally, the Executive will be responsible for designing, developing, delivering, and measuring marketing, communications, public relations, social media, and business development plans for Appleby's Asian offering. They will support the Hong Kong office's business plans and strategy, manage relationships with the firm's digital agency, prepare business development reports, and assist with ad hoc projects as needed.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of relevant Business Development (BD) and Marketing experience within professional services or the legal industry. They should be adept at implementing BD & Marketing plans to achieve business objectives. The candidate must be self-motivated, able to work across time zones with an energetic and creative team, and possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Strong interpersonal skills with colleagues, clients, and suppliers are essential.

Additionally, the candidate should be capable of working to deadlines, juggling multiple projects, and delivering under pressure while planning ahead and managing others' time efficiently. High attention to detail, reliability, and time management are crucial qualities in order for the colleague to succeed under the leadership the BD & Marketing Manager.
