Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and ensure smooth running of the Cash and Derivatives Clearing Operation

• Control operational risks, resolve exceptions and contingency situations swiftly and professionally

• Improve and streamline operational processes

• Supervise the delivery of new clearing services/business initiatives. This involves:

• review of policies, rules & procedures and systems.

• liaise with statutory bodies, internal departments, external business counterparties

• delivery of project tasks including user requirements and users acceptance tests

Requirements:

• University Degree, preferably in Finance / Business Administration / Accountancy / Economics or related subject;

• At least 4 years’ relevant experience in financial industry, preferably in the Clearing and Settlement operations of derivatives market (at least 1 years at management level);

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage;

• Conversant with MS Word / Excel / Outlook / PowerPoint; and

• Willing to work shift duties and working experience in night shift is an advantage.

• Self-initiative, with good interpersonal and communication skills

• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Associate role
