Job Responsibilities:

• To propose appropriate business proposal, policy or operational flow changes for CSD/depository and nominee business
• To manage business projects and initiatives throughout the project life cycle
• To conduct in-depth research and impact analysis, draft/review proposals/user requirements, policy papers, relevant rules and procedures, perform/co-ordinate user acceptance test and prepare presentation materials
• To provide support and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency or services standards with proper internal controls in place
• To participate and assist in cross-departmental projects and initiatives
• To provide support on daily operations when required and distribution of work between daily operations and project work may vary from time to time

Requirements:

• University degree, preferably in a Finance or IT related subject
• At least 6 years' relevant working experiences, preferably in the securities industry from the perspective of either an exchange, clearing house, broker or custodian
• In depth business understanding of clearing, risk, custody, corporate actions and/or CSD processes and functions. Knowledge of mainland/international market practice is an advantage
• Strong analytical, planning, communication and presentations skills
• Strong inter-personal and effective relationship management skills
• Good knowledge of the project life cycle and governance
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (particularly Excel, Access and PowerPoint) and MS Project
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
• Candidates with less experience or qualification will be considered for the position of Associate
