Company Overview

We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Student Affairs Office:

Assistant Student Affairs Manager / Student Affairs Officer (Sports and Physical Education) (SAO) (Ref.: 23001Q0)

Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

  • Coordinating sports activities and "Exercise is Medicine" programmes to promote a healthy lifestyle;
  • Supporting and assisting in the supervision of sports teams to foster the holistic development of student-athletes;
  • Assisting in the administration of the sports related scholarship and student-athlete learning support;
  • Acting as the coordinator or convenor for inter-university sports competitions whenever necessary;
  • Supporting day-to-day operations, including sports facility management, booking procedures, payment procedures, and coordinating sports facility administration;
  • Maintaining databases, compiling statistical reports, and conducting data analysis;
  • Coordinating and liaising with internal and external stakeholders; and
  • Performing any other duties assigned by the Director of Student Affairs or his/her designees.


Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

  • A recognized degree in Physical Education/Sports/Leisure Management, with a minimum of three years of relevant post-qualification work experience. Preferably, this experience should have been acquired in the sports section of local institutions. A higher degree in a relevant discipline is highly desirable;
  • Experience serving as a convenor or organizing committee member for university-wide sports competitions is advantageous;
  • Experience in managing sports teams and sports marketing, preferably with experience in media production; and
  • Strong communication skills in English and Chinese (including Putonghua), as well as interpersonal and computer skills.


Candidates with less relevant experience may be considered for appointment as Student Affairs Officer.

Candidates may be invited to attend a written test.

An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates.
