Boardwalk underneath Island Eastern Corridor – Design and Construction

Meinhardt invites applicants for a range of Residential Site Staff position(s) for contract administration and construction supervision for captioned Contract. The works mainly comprise
provision of a boardwalk of about 2.2 kilometres long from Oil Street to Hoi Yu Street and about 10 metres wide for a pedestrian walkway and a shared use path; (b) construction of three movable bridges; (c) provision of architectural features and ancillary facilities; (d) beautification, modification and revitalisation works of existing facilities along the proposed Boardwalk; (e) associated road, drainage, sewerage, utilities, lighting facilities, electrical and mechanical (E&M), waterworks, and traffic engineering works; (f) and implementation of an environmental monitoring and audit programme for the works mentioned in item (a) to (e) above. The works commenced in December 2021 and will take about 40 months to complete.

邁進現就招聘下列駐地盤工程人員負責上述工程合約的合約行政及建造監督工作。工程主要包括： (a) 於油街至海裕街之間提供一條長約2.2公里、寬約10米的行人板道作為行人通道和供不同人士使用的「共融通道」；(b) 興建三條開合橋；(c) 提供建築特色及配套設施；(d) 美化、改建及活化擬議板道沿途的現有設施；(e) 進行相關附屬工程，包括道路、排水、排污、公用設施、街道照明、機電、供水和交通工程；以及 (f) 就上述(a)至(e)項提及的工程進行環境監察及審核計劃。工程預計於二零二一年十二月展開，需時約40個月完成。

Assistant Resident Architect 駐地盤助理建築師 (Ref: 91640/ARA)

Qualification and Experience required:

• Master Degree from University or equivalent in Architectural Study, with at least 1 year’ relevant post-academic qualification experience in professional field and level.
• Relevant experience as Assistant Resident Architect or equivalent in public works projects or those listed in Section 4.5.2. of the RSS Management Handbook will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge in CAD and BIM softwares would be an advantage

所需資格及工作經驗:

• 持有相關學科的碩士學位或同等資格，並具有最少一年取得該學位資格後之相關工作經驗。
• 具有工務工程項目或駐工地人員管理手冊中4.5.2章節列出的認可工程項目中擔任駐地盤助理建築師或同等的相關工作經驗尤佳。
• 具備CAD和BIM軟體知識及相關經驗尤佳

Remarks 
The language proficiency requirement of Level 2 ^{Note 2} or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE/HKCEE or equivalent shall be met.

Attained a level of proficiency in Chinese and English Language equivalent to Secondary 3 standard or above.

Note 1: “Attained’’ in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in the HKDSEE are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects in the HKDSEE.

Note 2: Attained Grade C and Grade E in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 3 and Level 2 respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.

The candidates should have minimum academic / professional qualification requirements of the above posts.

Conditions: Appointments will be made on Agreement Term with Meinhardt Consulting Engineers in accordance with the prevailing Government’s terms and conditions. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The incumbent may be required to work irregular hours, overtime and shifts (including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) to carry out supervision duties in Hong Kong, China or any designated workplace when required.

Where a large number of candidates meet the specified entry requirements, we may devise shortlisting criteria to select the better qualified candidates for further processing. In these circumstances, only shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend recruitment interview.
