We are currently seeking for the following candidate to join us:

Assistant Purchasing Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain and update purchase documents, review procurement process, prepare and follow purchase orders for supporting daily operations
• Liaise and communicate with overseas suppliers, review supplier performance and collect market intelligence in order to implement strategic planning and action plan
• Handle the import documents, make shipment arrangements and keep track of the delivery
• Responsible for supplier sourcing and selection, prices and terms negotiation, maintain supplier network and long-term partnership development
• Manage cost analysis, keep track and monitor stocks level for maintaining optimal stocks, reducing wastage and controlling cost
• Evaluate and review products quality and performance for products development and improvement in order to meet clients’ needs and requirements and uplift business growth
• Prepare purchasing reports and cost comparison to formulate purchasing plan
• Work closely with sales team and warehouse for purchase needs and forecast, ordering system and inventory management
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Degree holder in Purchasing/Supply Chain Management or relevant business subjects
• 1-2 years relevant experience in purchasing or logistics, experience in food & beverage industry/retail management will be an advantage
• Capable of multi-tasks and with strong organizational, communication and negotiating skills
• Proactive, independent, result-oriented and details minded
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, knowledge of Italian is a highly preferred
• Proficiency in computer literacy in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
