The appointee is expected to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in critical reading for translators, interpreting (English, Putonghua and Cantonese), financial translation, legal translation, computer-aided translation, translation for the media, and/or translation theories and linguistics.

Applicants should possess a Doctoral Degree with a proven track record of research, teaching and/or professional service. Those with expertise in teaching Forensic Linguistics and Court Interpreting would be definitely an asset.

The appointee is expected to assume duty in August 2018. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
