Assistant Officer (Ref. 250411016-IE)
Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) provide administrative support to the daily operation of the Office;
(b) assist in providing administrative support to the National Education programmes and related activities;
(c) compile statistical reports and maintain effective record systems and databases;
(d) support for student recruitment and related tasks;
(e) provide secretarial support to meetings and committees;
(f) assist in organising seminars, workshops and other promotional events;
(g) liaise with students as well as internal units and external organisations effectively; and
(h) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a recognised degree with at least three years of relevant administrative experience;
(b) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably with fluency in Putonghua;
(c) have good computer skills such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese word processing, Photoshop and Illustrator;
(d) have a strong sense of responsibility and good interpersonal skills; and
(e) be a good team player, detail-minded, proactive, able to work independently and meet the work schedule.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for written and computer tests.
Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
