Reporting to the Senior Manager (Market Conduct) and Manager (Market Conduct), the incumbent will assume the following:

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support for processing licences for insurance intermediaries
• Perform supervision of insurance intermediaries
• Participate in inspection and/or investigation on insurance intermediaries to assess their compliance with relevant regulatory requirements
• Handle complaints and carry out relevant assessment / investigation
• Assist in developing legislation, rules and guidelines on supervision of insurance intermediaries

Requirements

• A degree or professional qualification in finance and banking, insurance, economics, law, accounting, business administration or an appropriate field
• Minimum 3 years' relevant work experience in accounting, audit, insurance, risk management, legal, compliance or complaint handling
• Knowledge of the local regulatory requirements, insurance products, industry practices and market dynamics relating to the insurance business
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
