Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and manage a team of accounting staff;
• Handle tasks relating to subventions such as working out the allocation of lump sum grant, generating consolidated financial statements of subvented service units and preparing the budget template of subvented service, etc.;
• Perform month-end closing and monitor cash flows;
• Ensure compliance with laid-down procedures and statutory requirements;
• Liaise with external parties, e.g. banks, auditors, etc;
• Assist in preparation of annual financial statements;
• Assist in fundraising activities; and
• Perform other ad hoc assignments when required.

Requirements

• Semi-qualified in HKICPA or ACCA or with a Diploma in Accounting, preferably a Degree in Accountancy or equivalent;
• 7 years’ relevant experience;
• Knowledge of Oracle System is an advantage but not essential;
• Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English;
• Excellent PC skills, in particular Microsoft Excel; and
• Independent, self-motivated, good interpersonal & communication skills.
