This is an excellent opportunity for you to join our professional team in the Corporate Finance Division of the SFC and contribute to the development of the Hong Kong securities market.

You will be involved in a broad range of policy and regulatory work, including:

• Administering the Codes on Takeovers and Mergers and Share Buy-backs, evaluating transactions and applications made thereunder;
• Developing rules and policies for the development of an effective capital market in Hong Kong; and
• Monitoring and regulating corporate activities of entities regulated by the Codes.

You will be responsible for analysing complex issues, reviewing documents, providing research and analysis and preparing innovative policy initiatives to assist in the development of Hong Kong markets.

Requirements

• An ideal candidate should possess a university degree preferably in finance, accounting, business or law and/or professional qualifications such as CFA. 
• About 3 years of relevant working experience, ideally in corporate finance, research or other relevant regulatory experience.
• Good interpersonal, presentation, writing and communication skills.
• Familiarity with the regulation of corporate activities of listed companies in Hong Kong and/or overseas and the regulatory frameworks would be an advantage.
• Inquisitive with a strong sense of responsibility and impeccable integrity.
