Company Overview

Responsibilities

  • Formulate strategies and implement donor recruitment and retention programmes and initiatives to achieve the Society’s fundraising goals
  • Lead and motivate a team of staff to manage fundraising programmes and activities
  • In charge of fundraising staff’s recruitment, training, productivity and performance development
  • Develop and manage public and donor database; and provide strategic and analytic insights, reports and recommendations
  • Handle and execute exhibitions/fundraising events including planning, liaising and solicitation with exhibitors, suppliers and venues etc.
  • Devise and implement outreach strategies, initiatives, activities and events to attract and engage public partners; and enhance brand awareness and engagement
  • Develop robust fundraising initiatives including but not limited to outdoor, digital and social media touch points for Heep Hong Society with strong links to its rehabilitation education, vocational training, social innovation, volunteering and experiential learning initiatives
  • Manage and/or assist with public and community education and engagement projects and collaterals, including all aspects of procurement and outsourcing jobs to external suppliers
  • Copy write fundraising and donor communications including newsletters, invitations, direct and online appeals, solicitations, acknowledgements, proposals, etc.

 

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in business administration, marketing, public relations or related discipline
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in fundraising and marketing, with at least 2 years in supervisory role gained from NGO or fundraising agencies
  • Solid experience in managing a face-to-face monthly giving programme
  • Good knowledge of fundraising in NGO is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage public and stakeholder events
  • Strong leadership with excellent interpersonal and motivational skills
  • Highly analytical with solid exposure in database management
  • Good organizational and planning skills, ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate fluently and professionally in English and Chinese in writing
