Roles:
The Assistant manager’s main responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Manage and coordinate meetings for committees and working groups; attending meetings, preparing papers and minutes/notes, as well as implementing the resolutions reached at meetings;
- Liaise with members to solicit and collate inputs so as to prepare reports for submission to the authorities or other stakeholder groups;
- Organize seminars, workshops and other events;
- Conduct researches and prepare reports; and
- Handle administrative tasks.
Attributes and qualities:
- University graduate - preferably in finance, economics or communications;
- Able to interact effectively with member firms and different stakeholder groups;
- Strong writing skills – both English and Chinese, and excellent PC skills;
- Versatile, have strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize.
