COLLEGE OF INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION

Established in 2000, the College of International Education (CIE) is a self-funded unit of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) offering full-time associate degree and undergraduate honours degree programmes at both the HKBU Kowloon Tong and Shatin Shek Mun campuses. It is a major education providing unit of the School of Continuing Education (SCE), one of the eight Faculties/Schools of HKBU. CIE currently enrols about 4,000 students and is committed to sustaining the University's mission of providing quality whole-person higher education with a Christian heritage. English is used as the medium of instruction at the College. Applications are now invited for the following position:

Assistant Lecturer in Sport and Recreation Leadership (PR0685/22-23)

Responsibilities:
The appointee is required to perform teaching duties in related disciplines, including theoretical knowledge and practical skills, such as Track and Field, Gymnastics, Badminton, Table Tennis, Volleyball etc; supervise of internships; and contribute to programme development.

Requirements:
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in related disciplines with 2 years of relevant teaching experience is preferrable. Relevant industry experience will be an advantage. Applicants must show dedication and strong commitment to teaching and education within and beyond the classroom. They must also be a good team player with excellent communication skills.

Reference salary range: HK$29,905 - HK$37,015

Rank and Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

The appointee will work on either/both the Kowloon Tong or/and Shatin Shek Mun campuses.
