Reporting to the Head Gymnastics Coach, the Assistant Gymnastics Coach will be responsible for the following duties:
- To provide training for elite and junior squads;
- To fully utilize and integrate scientific, medical and other athlete support services into the elite training programme to enhance elite training outcomes;
- To assist with the administration and coordination of logistics, accounting, coaching and team resources related to the training of Gymnastics squads, local and overseas; and
- To assist the HKSIL and The Gymnastics Association of Hong Kong , China with coach education programmes.
THE REQUIREMENTS
University degree or post-secondary Certificate / Diploma, or its equivalent;
- Holder of a valid coaching certificate issued by the relevant governing body;
- A minimum of 2 years professional coaching experience in Gymnastics;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Emphasis on team work and fairness;
- High level of computer literacy; and
- Awareness / knowledge of Child Protection in sport and equal opportunity issues in the context of Hong Kong are an added advantage.

主要職責
在體操總教練的監督下，助理體操教練須向體操教練匯報工作情況，其職責詳列如下：
- 負責訓練精英及青少年運動員；
- 在進行青少年訓練計劃時，善用所有運動科學、醫療及其他為運動員而設的支援服務，以加強訓練成果；
- 在安排運動員於本地及海外集訓或比賽時，須協助統籌有關行政管理、後勤、會計及資源分配等工作；及
- 協助香港體育學院及中國香港體操總會的教練培訓工作。
申請資格
大學學位或大專證書/文憑，或同等學歷；
- 持有由相關機構頒發的有效教練証書；
- 具備最少兩年體操專業教練經驗；
- 具備良好溝通能力及人際關係；
- 注重團體合作及公平；
- 熟悉電腦操作；及
- 認識香港保護兒童及平等機會政策為佳。
