Reporting to the Facilities Management Manager, the appointee will be required to:

  • provide comprehensive facilities management (plan, organize, co-ordinate and supervise contractor) and technical support for facilities including renovation works, facilities move in & out, relocation, repairs, maintenance and risk assessment, etc., to ensure the working environment is safe, hygienic, efficient, and conducive to productivityliaise with other FMO units regarding the execution of planned maintenance / replacement / upgrading works to building fittings / fixtures and / or building services installations or systems, etc.;
  • perform regular inspections and prepare monthly report; manage all facilities to meet energy saving, compliance and safety requirements (boiler cert., pressure vessel cert., FS251, WR2, etc.);
  • prepare annual budgets and operating budgets for the facilities, monitor and control the budget, progress, quality of work and service provided by contractors in maintenance, repairing, checking, cleaning and other related services;
  • assist in the procurement of goods and services, prepare tender documents, technical proposals, specifications, scope of works, as well as estimate, evaluate and make recommendations on quotations and prepare all necessary documents;
  • coordinate and review OM Manuals as well as SOPs, and ensure full compliance by end users and contractors;
  • support and drive the Environment, Health and Safety objectives, conduct specific training on emergency procedures, safety, system operation and other relevant topics to the team; and
  • perform any other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • A recognized degree in Property/Facilities Management, Building Services or a related engineering discipline;
  • At least five years’ relevant working experience in facilities management, with broad knowledge of the relevant disciplines in Project, PM, OSH, regulation and statutory requirements being an advantage;
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, highly independent, proactive and able to prioritize tasks;
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, leadership and problem-solving skills;
  • A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage; and
  • High proficiency in MS Office, Visio and Chinese word processing, with knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage.
