Assistant Director (Branding and Marketing) (Ref. 250409001-IE)
Duties
The Assistant Director will play a key role in enhancing the University’s branding and marketing efforts, helping to improve its reputation among key stakeholders. This role will manage the Branding and Marketing team within the Communications and Public Affairs Office, focusing on executing branding campaigns, managing social media, creating digital content, and organising events.
The appointee will be required to:
(a) Leadership and Team Management
(b) Brand Communications and Marketing Execution
(c) Social Media and Digital Content Management
(d) Event Planning and Coordination
(e) Performance Tracking and Budget Management
(f) Additional Duties
Applicants should have:
(a) a recognised degree and at least twenty years of experience in related areas;
(b) proven experience in branding and marketing, with a strong focus on branding campaigns, digital content strategy, and social media;
(c) demonstrated expertise in event management and storytelling, with strong communication and presentation skills;
(d) excellent planning, project management, and the ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights;
(e) creative thinking with a strategic mindset, capable of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams; and
(f) excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
Candidates with less experience will be considered for the post of Senior Manager.
Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
