Client Details

Our client, a major global insurer, is looking for a Assistant Project Manager with at least 3+ years of experience as a hands-on project manager to join the team. The candidate is expected to have shown solid experience in end to end delivery of projects, stakeholder management, user requirement gathering, UAT, etc, and ideally from a banking/insurance background/consulting. A good understanding of data governance principles is a plus.

Excellent attitude and communication skills in both English and Cantonese is mandatory.

Description

• Lead an IT system revamp project by managing tasks, schedules, and stakeholder communications while employing Agile methodology and project management tools
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems into cloud platforms and support evaluations, testing, and deployment of new technologies
• Design and execute change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions, engaging stakeholders to assess impacts, and conducting training and communication initiatives to promote adoption
• Identify inefficiencies, streamline business processes, and implement performance metrics through process mapping and collaboration with cross-functional teams

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in disciplines like Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar fields
• 3-5 years of experience in project management or organizational change initiatives
• Project management experience in a banking, insurance or consultancy
• Familiarity with tools for project management is desirable
• Experience in the insurance sector is advantageous but not essential
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and Cantonese preferred
